Tribe Islands - A Second Life Land Rental Estate!!

Tribe Islands offer some of the most stunning land in Second Life. Beautifully landscaped and maintained, the Islands are the centre piece of a thriving community.
Formally established in 2007 as a residential virtual real estate provider, Tribe Islands has grown from 16384sqm, quarter sim estate to now over 7 million sqm. Having recently added the outstanding Poitier Estates to the Tribe Portfolio, we are able to offer a wide choice of island themes.

We offer many types of Island: Tropical Beach, Rough Cliffs, Jungle Valley, Nordic, Swampland, Tropical Rainforest & Coastal Lakelands. All islands are individually terraformed and landscaped. They are designed to offer the paradise that virtual worlds afford but also to ensure a private and lag free environment.
For Enterprise seeking an effective presence within Second Life, Tribe offers many services. These range from land provision right up to full service development. Whether it be meetings, prototyping, marketing or training the Second Life platform offers many opportunities. Whether your organisation seeks collaborative innovation, eco friendly and cost cutting solutions or exploratory forays into virtual worlds Tribe can help you every step of the way.
Tribe Islands was set up by friends Alexxa Despres and Driftwood Miles. Both arrived in Second Life around the same time in 2007 and it wasn’t long before they decided that providing a community and land space for other avatars would be an interesting and fun thing to do.
With the purchase of a quarter of a full sim (16384 sqm) to be named Southwater Caye, Tribe Islands was born.
Alexxa was in charge of Sales and Admin whilst Drift was responsible for landscaping and terraforming and the “team” worked very well indeed.
It was not very long before Southwater was full and both Alexxa and Drift were enjoying the project so much that they decided to take the plunge and buy that FULL SIM.
The learning curve in those early days was steep, but after a few “moments of excitement” the pair well and truly had their teeth into it. Making the move to the Full Sim (now Coco Caye) was a big move but it was not very long before one sim became two then three. Soon more help was needed and Blu Jupiter joined Tribe as its Estate Manager and she has been a valued and appreciated friend.
Today Tribe sits at around 7 million square meters and with the addition of two other estates those days of Southwater Caye seem so far away in the past.
With excellent staff and great land and wonderful residents Tribe is a fantastic place to make your Second Life Home. Come visit today.
