On Turtle Caye, one of the Tribe Islands, LadyRose Seda is hosting a weekend long event BIKERS BEACH BASH, in support of Relay For Life. Relay for Life has been a part of Second Life for many years and has turned into not only an awesome fund raising event but a true labor of love.
Ladyrose has put a lot of effort into creating this Bikers Beach Bash, featuring live music events, as well as a wide variety of booths where you can buy designer items, all sorts of games and wacky races as well, such as the rubber ducky race and tricycle race and a newly added booth : "Locks Of Love", come get your hair shaved!
Please take some time to see the Memorial Building, a touching tribute to people who have lost their battle to cancer or who are still fighting the battle. Why does LadyRose do this? In her own words:
" the reason I do this is on the second floor........the whole second floor is my family."

How long have you been in Second Life?
Since August 2007 (sheesh...I really need to get a life!!!)
What is your Current Relationship status?
Well I am married in RL......so...... I have a lot of friends that i have made over the years.
What do like most about Second Life?
Being able to meet people from all walks of life and places....i actually made a trip to Amsterdam in 2011 to meet up with 8 other co-workers and friends associated with a club i worked at in SL...was a lot of fun!I have met up with them again and have more plans to do so this fall.
What do you like least about Second Life?
People who pretend to be other than what they are.....but that's not just a fact of SL....I am sure they conduct themselves the same way in their RL.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Clothes shopping of course! and SHOES!!!!!
Who is your favorite Second Life Musician?
Al Velvetleaf.....although he seems to have dropped off the planet for the time being.
What is your favorite Second Life Hot Spot?
New Heaven...in the clouds above Boogie Beach.

I am still waiting to be wowed.....
What is the funniest/weirdest thing that has happened to you in connection with Second Life?
It was early on after i came to SL.....my husband bought me cowboy boots...i was at a western line dancing place...and i asked him what to do...he said "click replace outfit"...so i did.....yes the cowboy boots were on but the rest of my clothes were not on me.....i became immediately popular and was inundated with IM's...i could not leave fast enough and vowed never to take his SL advice again!
